Last picture of my Great Uncle Kennith, before he drowned in the Buffalo River, 1940’s. He gave his life saving my grandpa. by teenietina182 in TheWayWeWere

My family always talks about my great uncle, who had died only two years before I was born. He had polio when he was a kid, only to come out wheelchair-bound for the rest of his life, only to receive cancer later on down the line.

They'd always tell me he would've absolutely adored my brothers and I if he were still around. He also apparently had similar interests as me (liking older movies, cartoons, etc,.). We sometimes joke around that I'm him reincarnated, although my parents do tell me that my hands look just like his.

I know Reddit's really odd with religion and all that, though it is kind of a fascinating thought.

I'd cut him some slack. He's only 9. :| Kids make silly stuff like this all the time.

Heck, I'd always repeat that awful "IMMA FIRIN' MAH LAZZAAAR" meme all the time when I was 9.

Disney Channel sitcom starter pack by suprem3_d4d in starterpacks

This may sound like nostalgia talk (and, normally, I hate to hear it), but I swear: The reality factors and humor in Disney Channel's olden days was off the charts in comparison to this. :|

Almost everyone of the characters had modest, average homes and lives (or side lives) in comparison to the kids in the shows that are on now. Even the non-average characters (anyone remember The Replacements, Phil of the Future or Kim Possible?) didn't go home to lavish mansions and downtown apartments. At worst, maybe semi-larger two-story suburban homes... and I'm not talking about McMansion.

...Now, when was he racist? Wasn't his company the one that created Black Panther? I know he was written as a bad guy at first, but he did grow into a protagonist later on. I also can't recall a single time when he drew some awful Jim-Crow-era designs in his books in comparison to other comic companies, artists and writers in his time. Didn't he also voice his opinions against the actions that occurred by the Alt-Right in Charlottesville last year?

Also, where was the accusations she's talking about? If they're real, that's pretty awful, but I'm also a little surprised he didn't get the hammer after the completely necessary sexual harassment exposures that have occurred in the last year. By this point, you'd think he would be questioned by this.

I mean, maybe she's right? I don't know... Although, it was shitty to call him a bitch on his own death day.

Rest In Peace.

I'm honestly very mixed on this:

On one hand, this sounded like a really decent/fun game. I also wasn't a big big fan of CBFD's edgy South Park-inspired late 90's-early 2000's adult humor. That's just my opinion, but still. I was almost surprised they didn't do cum jokes by the time I finished the game.

On another hand, though, I actually really enjoyed CBFD. The gameplay style, the technical aspects of the game (like it's size, sounds and graphics), the multiplayer (at least in my opinion), etc,. was actually a lot of fun. Even the humor offered some good stuff, even if it were stupid (like the big anime tittied sunflower).

Would I play this if Rare were to release this version? Unless it sucked, absolutely! Although, I did hear someone in the comments say that his E3 experience with the game was anything but stellar, so it probably wouldn't have been much of a big deal in my book. At least CBFD was different in it's content and style.

How long did most N64 games take to develop, though? Like, for a console that's semi-infamous for it's development difficulties and oddities (half the reason why there's little to no legitimate homebrew), I feel as though almost 3 years sounds appropriate... especially for such a large and technically impressive game like CBFD. You also had Banjo Tooie, which was released 2 years after the first game.

I don't know, maybe I'm completely wrong.

Fuck, he died?

He was gonna be at my local comic con last year, but his health wasn't doing too well. I was hoping he'd last at least one more year. :(

RIP.

Sounds good, except:

Norway, Australia, and France have all still had mass shootings despite tough gun laws.

When was the last time they've had those, though? I mean, at least they don't have them every week.

I guess you do have a good point...

I should honestly know better and understand that things can't always go my way.

Now they have a reason to get rid of guns. Gun nuts don't need guns... I mean, egotistically speaking, sure, but not to survive.

In a way, yes. Once again, it's completely pointless. If society went to that peaceful of a route, then society clearly shouldn't care if guns are legal or not.

I love myself some old architecture like this, but the reactions are just ridiculous.

Also, we have to keep in mind what might be in these homes (like asbestos, lead paint, etc,.). You can't just clean it and expect everything to be perfect.

He doesn't pretend to be nice, and has the same attitude towards them in person as well as in his videos and I can respect him for that.

Can or Can't? This hardly sounds like a respectable trait. :|
